French rapper MHD received a 12-year jail term after accusing him of murdering a young man in Paris in 2018.
The court in Paris found the 29-year-old MHD guilty as he was involved in a group related to the killing of a 23-year-old man.
The victim was hit by MHD's Mercedes, before being beaten and stabbed to death by a 12-people group.
Earlier, MHD pleaded not guilty to the charges, telling the court: "From the beginning, I have maintained my innocence in this case and I will continue to maintain my innocence."
He denied being at the scene of the incident, claiming that involving his name is based on rumors.
However, one of the city's residents had footage of the crime, identifying the belongings of MHD.
Other witnesses recognized him by his haircut and a jumper, according to AFP.
