French Presidential Candidate Valérie Pécresse tested positive for COVID-19, she announced on Thursday.
"Tested positive for COVID. I am continuing the campaign at a distance in line with the covid rules. All our meetings are maintained thanks to the team," she tweeted.

Meanwhile, the diplomat is facing Emmanuel Macron, Marine Le Pen and Eric Zemmour in the French presidential elections scheduled for April.
“Her campaign has not been great but the real issue is the positioning,” said Chloé Morin of the Fondation Jean-Jaurès think-tank.
Pécresse served as President of the Regional Council of Île-de-France since 2015. She was also the Member of the National Assembly for the 2nd constituency of Yvelines from 2002 to 2007 and again from 2012 to 2016.
