France will impose a ten-day quarantine on arrivals from Brazil, Argentine, Chile, and South Africa due to concerns of emerging new variants in those countries, the French Prime Minister Jean Castex's office announced on Sunday.
Until now, the country didn't suspend all flights from Argentina, Chile, and South Africa, however, all arrivals from these countries will be obliged to be quarantined. Fines will be applied to those who break the decision.
On the other hand, France suspended all flights from Brazil until next Friday due to the emerge of mutated COVID-19 variants.
The newly imposed restrictions will be applied gradually through the upcoming days until they are fully applied next Saturday.
