On Tuesday, US State Department spokesman Ned Price called on former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to leave the United States.

And the American (Al-Hurra) channel stated that Price's statements came after a question about the legal status of Bolsonaro, who entered the United States on a diplomatic visa days before the end of his term.

The State Department spokesman said, "If someone enters the United States on a different type of visa, which is a diplomatic visa for foreign diplomats and heads of state, and then that person who holds the visa is no longer engaged in official business on behalf of his government, he must leave the United States or apply Apply for a change of immigration status within 30 days."

The former Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, had gone to the United States two days before Luis Inacio Lula da Silva took office.
