FM: president Sisi, Jordanian king directed to boost bilateral relations

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, Badr Abdel Aty, confirmed today, Wednesday, that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Jordanian King Abdullah II directed to give priority to further advancing bilateral relations to broader horizons, in a way that achieves the interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

Abdel Aty said - in his speech, during a joint press conference with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Al-Safadi, in the New Administrative Capital - “We welcome the visit of the dear and generous Jordanian Foreign Minister to his second country, Egypt, which comes within the framework of intensive coordination and consultation between the two brotherly countries on various regional and international issues.

He added that he discussed with his Jordanian counterpart many important issues at the forefront are the bilateral relations between Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, within the framework of joint consultation and distinguished political, economic and social relations.
