Dr. Badr Abdel Atty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, met with Mauro Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, on the sidelines of Cairo Ministerial Conference to Enhance the Humanitarian Response in Gaza.
The two ministers discussed efforts to provide urgent humanitarian support to the Palestinian people in light of the catastrophic humanitarian conditions taking place in the Gaza Strip, and the need to strengthen international coordination to ensure the access of humanitarian aid.
The two ministers also exchanged views on current developments in the Middle East, stressing the importance of reaching an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The meeting also focused on the distinguished bilateral relations between Egypt and Brazil, which are witnessing increasing development.
The two ministers expressed their aspiration to expand the scope of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
