The first half of the African Cup of Nations third place holder decider between Tunisia and Nigeria has ended with Nigeria scoring in the first minute by Ighalo.

The goal came after Tunisian goalkeeper Ben Cherifia failed to deflect the ball which found it's way into Ighalo's feet who struck it into goal.

The match was one sided in Tunisia's favor as they have maintained possession of the ball throughout the match but failed to capitalize on this possession in the form of goals.

Most of the game took place in Nigeria's midfield as Tunisia maintained control, the only weakness was the Tunisian defense which failed to close the open games, which resulted in several openings that were capitalized on by the Nigerian defense.
