The film adaptation of Mohamed Sadek's novel "Baad Saat Fi Youm Ma" has received a December 26 release date after a slew of delays.
Filmmaker Othman Abo Labn directed the project with Sadek adapting the book for the screen.
According to an official logline, the novel follows, "It's a few hours in a day... What could happen??.. Now time passes and we don't know anything about it... Suddenly, we find the clock pointing to five... Then we look at the clock and find it's one in the morning... So what could happen in a novel.. that takes place in a few hours??!! A question I asked myself.. And until now I haven't found an answer to it.. So why don't we search for the answer together??..".
"Baad Saat Fi Youm Ma" assembled a stacked cast that includes Ahmed Hatem, Mai Omar, Hesham Maged, Hannah El Zahed, Ahmed El Saadany, Asmaa Galal, Khaled Anwar, Mayan El Sayed, Mohamed Sallam, Huda El Mufti, Mohamed El Sharnouby, and more.
