Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts will host the 6th Art Award Cermony and the group exhibition for the Art Awards finalists on February 5 at Al Gazira Art Center.
The exhibition will display the finalist works.
2141 artworks were submitted, spanning five categories: Painting, Architecture, Sculpture, Art Criticism, and Photography.
The number of participants is 1133 artists, architects, and critics nationwide.
The total value of the awards is EGP 1 million, in addition to the prestigious Grand Merit Award.
The Board of Trustees, along with artist Farouk Hosny, extended their gratitude to the members of the judging committees for their active participation and outstanding efforts in achieving the foundation's goals.
They also wished all participants success, creativity, and excellence.
