The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot to extremely hot, humid weather will prevail across the country during Friday's daylight hours.
The weather will seem hotter due to the high humidity levels, which will push up the heat index 2-3 degrees.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, North Coast, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
Wind will occur occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves ranging between 1 and 2 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1.25 and 1.75 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
Moderately hot weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early hours.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 36°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 40°C in Sohag, 41°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
