EU Urges Israel to Ensure Safe, Dignified Return for Displaced Palestinians in Gaza

The European Union is set to urge Israel to guarantee a safe and dignified return for Palestinians displaced from their homes in the Gaza Strip, according to a report by Reuters. 

Sources indicate that the EU will actively participate in coordinated international efforts for early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza, aiming to alleviate the devastation affecting infrastructure and residential areas.

The EU also called for safe and unrestricted humanitarian access to all parts of Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid, particularly in northern regions facing catastrophic conditions due to severe shortages of essential supplies.

Expressing deep concern over the deteriorating humanitarian situation, the EU condemned the ongoing crisis, highlighting the insufficient delivery of aid to the most affected areas.

This stance from the EU comes amid growing international pressure on Israel to uphold international humanitarian law and protect civilian rights, as diplomatic efforts continue to seek a resolution to the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
