Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, said an unprecedented visitors had been drawn to the ministry’s pavilion at the 56th Cairo International Book Fair.
In line with Egypt's Vision 2030, the pavilion offers participatory environmental activities, workshops, and awareness campaigns that promote sustainability and resource conservation.
Key programs including as the Go Green campaign, Eco Egypt, and E-Tadwer for e-waste management are being showcased by the ministry's Environmental Awareness Team.
Workshops on recycling, environmental activities, theatrical puppet performances, and informative conversations are all available to visitors.
The ministry's involvement, which is backed by TFSC Egypt and the National Solid Waste Management Program (NSWMP), demonstrates its dedication to environmental education.
The Cairo International Book Fair, running from January 23 to February 5, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, welcomes visitors daily from 10 AM to 8 PM, except on Thursdays and Fridays, when it extends to 9 PM.
The fair continues its development efforts in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the country’s digital transformation strategy.
Oman is the Guest of Honor for the 56th edition of the fair, while the late scientist Ahmed Mostagir has been chosen as the Fair’s Personality, and author Fatima Al-Maadoul as the Children's Book Fair Personality.
