Enppi stunned Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League after securing a 2-1 victory on Monday.

Enppi started the game so fiercely as early as after only twenty-seven seconds when Mohammed Bassiouni had given his side the lead by a powerful shot.

Zamalek's defender Mahmoud Alaa converted from a penalty spot netting the equalizer in the 40th minute.

Mohamed Sherif's 90-minute goal gave Enppi the three valuable points when he received an excellent pass putting him a one-on-one position to seal the victory.

Zamalek now rank third with ten points after pulling off three victories and losing one game, whilst Enppi came in the 14th spot with only four points.

The White knights, who were drawn in Group A in the CAF Champions League alongside C.D. Primeiro de Agosto,  ZESCO United F.C (Zambia), and TP Mazembe (DR Congo), are set to head to DR Congo to play the first round in the group stage on Saturday, November 30.

Zamalek ended the last season with two trophies after claiming their second Egypt Cup title in a row and their 27th domestic trophy overall by defeating Pyramids on Sunday at Borg Al Arab stadium (3-0).

They also managed to lift the Confederation Cup title for the first time in their history after securing a victory over RS Berkane following a dramatic penalty shootout at Burj Al Arab Stadium (5-3) in May,

In August, Zamalek named the Serbian coach Milutin Sredojević “Micho” as a new manager to lead the Whites as he signed a one-year contract for million and 200 thousand dollars with an option to renew for another season.
