Oscar-winner actress Emma Stone got engaged last December to Saturday Night Live “SNL” writer and segment director Dave McCary after two years of dating.
McCary announced the news with a photo of the couple together and Emma showing off her diamond and pearl engagement ring.
Multiple reports say that the couple was due to tie the knot in Los Angeles this past weekend and was forced to postpone the wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, they were not the only celebrity couple to have been affected by the pandemic. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were reportedly set to get married in front of 150 guests in Japan this summer, but have also been forced to push the date back due to the outbreak.
It is worth mentioning that, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared coronavirus a global pandemic on March 11 as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 121,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
