Billionaire Elon Musk and the Indonesian Minister of Health, Budi Junadi Sadikin, Sunday, launched the “Starlink” Internet service of SpaceX in the health sector in Indonesia, to serve remote areas.
Musk said that providing the Starlink service in Indonesia helps millions in remote areas of the country connect to the Internet.
Indonesia has a population of more than 270 million people and includes three different time zones. “I am very excited to provide connectivity to places where connectivity is limited,” Musk said. “Whoever can connect to the Internet can learn anything.”
The "Starlink" service was launched in three Indonesian health centers on Sunday, two of which are in Bali and the third is on the remote Aru Island in Maluku.
