At the beginning of the activities of the second day of the EGYPS 2024 Conference, Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum discussed with Francisco Dacosta Montero, Minister of Petroleum of East Timor the joint cooperation and the possibility of benefiting from Egyptian expertise in developing the oil and gas industry.
The Minister of Petroleum of East Timor affirmed that his country is open to cooperation and benefiting from Egyptian expertise due to the great development it has achieved in the oil and gas industry and the distinguished expertise it possesses in research, exploration, petroleum refining and the petrochemical industry.
El-Molla expressed his great confidence in the Egyptian oil and gas industry and its expertise and cadres, stressing the existence of opportunities for cooperation in all fields of manufacturing, research, exploration, engineering work and project implementation.
He also expressed the readiness of the petroleum sector to receive the cadres of the Republic of East Timor for training and to benefit from Egypt’s expertise in various oil and gas sectors.
