CAIRO, Feb. 25 (SEE)- Alexandria's El-Ettehad drew with Saudi Club El-Helal on Monday in the second leg of the quarter finals of El- Sheikh Zayed Club, exiting the tournament as a result of their first leg defeat.
El-Ettehad played a much better game than the first leg, which they lost as a result of suffering 3 clean goals. The Alexandrian club displayed great attacking abilities in the game, but failed on several occasions to make their presence felt against the much stronger Saudi opponent.
The Alexandrian Club was previously successful in eliminated both El-Zamalek and Tunisian Club El-Taragy before finally being halted in their tracks against El-Helal.
With the win, now El-Helal awaits the winner between Ahly Jeddah and Emirati Club El-Wasl in the semi-final of the tournament.
