In a bid to promote Egypt's tourism, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa inaugurated the “Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs” exhibition on Friday in Paris, France.
The exhibition, which runs through September 17, features 181 unique Egyptian artifacts dating back to the era of King Ramses II, exquisite sculptures, precious treasures, and state-of-the-art multimedia reproductions as well as some marvelous colored wooden coffins.
It also gives the visitors the opportunity to figure out the "Coffin of the Mummy of King Ramses," which is being exhibited for the first time outside Egypt, in addition to a virtual reality tour of the fabulous temple of Abu Simbel and the tomb of Nefertari.
