Egypt`s Production of Butane Increases to 128,000 Tons

Egypt`s local production rates of butane achieved a slight increase in the recent period, as the total production of butane reached about 128.9 thousand tons last November, compared to 119.7 thousand tons in November 2019, an increase of about 9.2 thousand tons.

According to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), the domestic consumption of butane increase to reach about 303.2 thousand tons last November, compared to 294.5 thousand tons in the same month in 2019. This represents an increase of about 8.7 thousand tons.

Egypt`s imports of butane decreased slightly as it recorded 175 thousand tons last November, compared to 185 thousand tons in the same month in 2019, a decline of about 10 thousand tons.
