Grand Mufti of Egypt and President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, Dr. Nazir Mohammad Ayyad, arrived in Astana to take part in the 8th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, will be held under the patronage of Kazakhstan’s President.
Dr. Ayyad was warmly received by Egypt’s Ambassador Ibtisam Rekha Hassan and Deputy Mufti of Kazakhstan Sheikh Sansizbai Shukanov. The visit highlights Egypt’s leading role in promoting interfaith dialogue, coexistence, and peace, with the Mufti set to meet senior religious and political leaders and participate in the Congress sessions and activities.
