Egypt's judo team will participate in the Grand Slam Championship from 1 to 3 March in Uzbekistan.
The Egyptian Judo Federation announced the list of players scheduled to participate in the tournament:
Yousry Sami – 60 kg, Mohamed Abdel Mawgoud – 66 kg, and Abdel Rahman Abdel Ghani – 81 kg.
The judo team will head to Uzbekistan on Tuesday, accompanied by Japanese coach Izumi Hiroshi, and the mission is headed by Tarek Ezz El-Din.
The tournament is one of the qualifying tournaments for the 2024 Paris Olympics, with 516 players from 71 countries participating.
