Egypt’s investment environment is stable, attractive and witnessing “an unprecedented boom” under President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi’s leadership of the Supreme Council for Investment, Dr. Hoda Yasseh, President of the Arab Women Investors Union, said during the Positive Path Forum 3.

Speaking as a keynote guest at the event organized by Save the Children and the Council of Arab Economic Unity, Yasseh said recent government directives to introduce comprehensive incentives across economic sectors have strengthened investor confidence and positioned Egypt as a regional hub for foreign investment.

She cited growing global interest, including a recent Saudi-Qatari investment partnership and the Alamein-related Al-Rom project, as evidence of Egypt’s appeal. Yasseh highlighted legislative reforms, streamlined company registration, modern infrastructure and a competitive labor force among Egypt’s key advantages.

Yasseh added that political and economic stability remain essential for investors. She also underscored the union’s role in promoting entrepreneurship and supporting women-led businesses through training, financing partnerships and international investment forums.
