Egypt's FM Tells Macron: Rebuilding Gaza While Keeping Palestinians on Their Land

During a sideline meeting at the ministerial conference on Syria held in Paris on Thursday, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Dr. Badr Abdel Aaty, conveyed greetings from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron. The discussion highlighted Egypt’s extensive efforts to stabilize the ceasefire in Gaza through its three phases and to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.

Minister Abdel Aaty outlined Egypt’s comprehensive strategy aimed at assisting the Palestinians in Gaza. This initiative includes early recovery programs, debris removal, and reconstruction projects, ensuring that Palestinians remain on their homeland.

In response, President Macron reciprocated the greetings to President el-Sisi, appreciating Egypt’s significant role in the region in promoting security and stability. He also acknowledged France’s support for Egypt’s initiatives, emphasizing the importance of keeping Palestinians on their land.
