Within the framework of world precautionary measures amid emerging Coronavirus outbreak, about 16 of Egypt's experts abroad, who are members of "Egypt Can" initiative, held an online meeting via video conference to put forward a number of ideas. They also discussed the possibility of applying them to support the remote learning system.

This came in the light of schools' and universities' suspension in most of world countries to ensure students' safety and curb the spread of the virus.

During the meeting, the Egyptian experts agreed on launching a channel on "YouTube" to publish scientific topics and materials related to distance learning and "COVID-19" disease, according to Advisor to the minister of Immigration and Egyptian expatriates for Information Technology (IT) Dr Khaled Sherif.

Moreover, each expert will review the universities' experience in remote learning, in the light of COVID-19 outbreak.

In addition, Amr Hassanein, Professor of Environmental Science and Technology, University of Maryland, said that they discussed broadcasting video clips on a number of specialized scientific topics that are taught abroad, with the aim of providing support and assistance to schools' and universities' students in Egypt, in line with the precautionary measures taken by Education and Higher Education ministries, amid virus outbreak.

The Egyptian experts also expressed their real desire to offer help and assistance for their motherland during this critical stage, affirming that they are working to develop educational materials directed to universities' professors, teachers and students, on ways to conduct scientific research in modern methods, and how to follow the standards of correct scientific research.
