Khaled Al-Anani, the Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, issued a ministerial decision to form the technical secretariat of the permanent committee for licensing hotel and tourist establishments.

The decision to form the technical secretariat is to be headed by Mohamed Amer, the head of the central administration for hotel facilities, shops, and tourism activities in the ministry, and the membership of directors of general administrations for each of the licenses of hotel establishments, licenses for tourist shops, and licenses for ping and marine activities, in addition to three members of the technical office of the head of the central administration of hotel facilities.

The technical secretariat is responsible for assisting the committee in performing its duties by preparing studies and topics to be presented to the committee and following up on the implementation of its decisions.

It is worth noting that the permanent committee for licensing hotel and tourist establishments has been formed under the chairmanship of Al-Anani, in light of the issuance of the new hotel and tourist establishments law.

This step aims to advance work in the tourism sector by facilitating and coordinating with all concerned authorities, each in its own jurisdiction, through one disciplined working mechanism in a manner that contributes to accelerating the pace of work, implementing a single vision, and facilitating procedures for licensing hotel and tourist establishments of all kinds through the application of the one-stop policy.
