Saleh joined the Higher Institute of Ballet in the same year of its opening in 1958.
In 1963, Saleh and four Russian students had a scholarship Bolshoi Ballet Academy.
In 1966, She participated in the first ballet show in Egypt. It was Boris Asafyev's "The Fountain of Bakhchisarai." She performed in the presence of President Mohamed Anwar Al Sadat.
She also performed hundreds of shows overseas, mainly in Russia.
