In a significant development towards the complete transfer of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities' employees and its affiliated authorities to work from the ministry headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, a seminal meeting took place today.
The meeting was headed by Amr Al-Qadi, the CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, and it marked the first assembly of the authority’s leadership at the ministry building in the New Administrative Capital.
The objective of the meeting was to ensure the smooth and efficient continuation of operations following the full relocation of the authority’s personnel.
CEO Amr Al-Qadi opened the meeting by extending Eid al-Adha greetings to the authority's leadership, wishing them prosperity and blessings.
He noted that the move to the New Administrative Capital signifies the onset of a new era of advanced governmental work. He emphasized that all employees should embrace this transformation and uphold their responsibilities, as this step represents a major qualitative administrative shift aligning with global technological standards.
During the meeting, the CEO also outlined the key aspects of the tourist activation plan on both professional and public fronts, aiming to promote Egypt as a prime tourist destination in various tourism markets in the upcoming period.
The discussion also revolved around the promotional policies, plans, and targets intended to enhance inbound tourist movement to Egypt in light of the national strategy for tourism development in Egypt.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed the most notable developments and updates witnessed by the tourism sector in Egypt and the efforts made by the Egyptian government to enhance this sector.
Attention was also drawn towards the core tourism infrastructure serving the sector and the incentives offered to investors and tourists to stimulate more inbound tourist movement towards Egypt's tourist destinations.
