Egyptian Pound Rises 5 Pt. Against Dollar

The exchange rate of the Egyptian pound rose at the beginning of this week against the US dollar by 2-5 piastres after a decline observed during last week's trading.

The exchange rate of the pound at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr rose by two piastres reach at EGP 16.23 to buy, and EGP 16.33 for sale, compared to EGP 16.25 and EGP 16.35 last week.

The pound rose in the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) and Bank Audi by 5 piastres to record EGP 16.22 to buy, and 16.32 pounds on sale.

On the other hand, the pound in the Commercial International Bank (CIB) rose by 5 pt. during Sunday's trading to reach EGP 16.21 for buying and EGP 16.31 for sale.

The dollar scored EGP 16.22, EGP 16.21 for purchase and EGP 16.32, EGP 16.31 for sale at Arab African International Bank (AAIB) and United Bank respectively.

The pound rose in the Egyptian Gulf Bank and the Suez Canal 4 pt. at EGP 16.23 to buy, and EGP 16.33 to sell.
