The Egyptian pound rose slightly against the dollar in banks at the end of trading on Tuesday, compared to Monday's rate.
The price of the pound in the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr rose by a 1 piastre during Tuesday's trading to record to EGP 16.15 to buy, and EGP 16.25 for sale, compared to EGP 16.16 and EGP 16.26 by the end of Monday's trading.
The pound also rose in Commercial International Bank (CIB) by about two piastres to reach EGP 16.13 for buying and EGP 16.23 for sale, compared to EGP 16.15 and EGP 16.25 yesterday.
The dollar also fell in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) to record EGP 16.17 to buy and EGP 16.26 to sell, compared to EGP 16.19 and 16.29 earlier this week.
The dollar dropped in Bank Audi by 2 piastres to record EGP 16.15 to buy and EGP 16.25 for sale, compared to EGP 16.16 and EGP 16.26 by the end of Monday's trading.
