On Wednesday, the Egyptian pavilion participating in the London International Tourism Exchange WTM2021 (World Travel Market), which is held from 1 to 3 November in the British capital, held a ceremony to announce the winners of the competition organized by the pavilion for media representatives.
It is considered one of the most important international tourism exhibitions and one of the most important professional gatherings of professional partners in the tourism industry around the world, which is held annually in the United Kingdom, but was held virtually in 2020 due to the global pandemic.
Mohamed Mohsen, the tourism attaché at the Egyptian Tourist Office in London, indicated that two representatives of the media, newspapers, and international magazines won a tourist trip to Egypt, where they would enjoy the unique tourist attractions, the warm, sunny beaches, and scenic landscapes, in addition to taking Nile cruises and visiting the traditional markets in Egypt.
He noted that the national airliner, EgyptAir, presented tickets for these two flights as a gift, noting that the ministry, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, bears the cost of accommodation and transportation during the two flights.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities' keenness to promote tourism to Egypt and benefit from local and international events in promoting Egypt more and attracting more tourists to Egypt.
