On Monday, Egypt's Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, met with General Charles Q. Brown Jr, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, in a significant bilateral discussion.
The meeting took place at the Egyptian Ministry of Defense, where General Brown was honored with a formal reception, including the playing of national anthems.
