EgyptAir to Transfer Covid-19 Vaccine in Cooled Containers

EgyptAir announced Today, its full preparation, to transfer the Covid-19 vaccine to Egypt, according to Mohamed Rushdi Zakaria the Chairman of EgyptAir's state holding company.

The national air carrier added two 777 aircraft to its fleet to support it in demands to transport the vaccine.

Rushdi reported that there are cooled containers which the vaccine will be placed during its transport to Egypt, in order to maintain its temperature. Also, he noted that there is a cooled yard in the goods village at Cairo Airport, to store the vaccine in it until it is distributed by cars.

Now, the priority will be to transfer the vaccine doses to Egypt, then any requests from other countries to transfer the vaccine to them will be met, Rushdi reported.
