An official source in EgyptAir said that the company's flight No. MS905 which was heading from Cairo to Dubai, carrying 120 passengers, made an emergency landing at Dammam International Airport due to a sudden technical malfunction.
EgyptAir stated - in a statement, Tuesday - that the pilot of the plane immediately requested permission to land at Dammam International Airport, out of concern for the safety of passengers and in accordance with international standards.
The statement added that all passengers were disembarked at Dammam Airport until the plane was inspected and the technical procedures were completed.
According to the statement, the company has prepared another plane heading from Cairo Airport to Dammam Airport to transport passengers of flight MS905 from Dammam to Dubai.
