EgyptAir Operates 1st Flight to New Delhi

In the early hours of this morning, EgyptAir's first direct flights took off from Cairo International Airport to the Indian capital, New Delhi; with the aim of creating new marketing opportunities for the flag carrier.

Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EgyptAir Holding Company confirmed that in light of the remarkable and continuous increase in the volume of trade exchange and travel between Egypt and India, EgyptAir operates direct flights to New Delhi with 4 flights per week on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

He added that this new line represents an additional point for EgyptAir's network in the Asian continent.

The coming period will witness the study of operating more direct flights to save time and effort, which makes travel on EgyptAir the preferred choice for many customers, and with the operation of the new route, the total number of EgyptAir flights to India will become 9 flights per week, with 5 flights to Mumbai and 4 flights to New Delhi.
