Egypt Weather: Cairo to Bask in 32°C Heat — See How Hot Your Area Will Be

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Friday.

Moderately hot weather is also predicted to hit the North Coast and South Upper Egypt experiences scorching weather.

The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, and Central Sinai.

Wind will be active in most parts of the country, stirring sand and dust in South Sinai.

It is also predicted there will be disruption of maritime navigation in the western shores of the Mediterranean Sea, with winds averaging 30 to 50 km/h and waves ranging between 1.5 to 2.5 meters.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderately cold weather at nighttime.

Moderate weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32°C in Cairo, 25°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 35°C in Sohag, 36°C in Qena, and 37°C in Aswan.
