The Egyptian U-23 Olympic team made history after defeating Brazil 2-1 in a remarkable show of talent and skill by the young Pharaohs.

The match started at a fast pace with both teams racing to score against the other, exchanging attacks early on in the match up.

Brazil opened the scoring in the 16th minute after Rodrigo made use of a deflected header placing it into goal.

Karim El Eraqy equalised the scoring in the 48th minute of the match after a beautifully placed header.

Lastly, Egypt's attacking hero Ahmed Yasser Rayan, who made his name felt in last year's U-23 African Cup of Nations scored the winning goal in Egypt in the 54th minute.
