The Egyptian U-23 football team (the Olympic team), officially, qualified for Paris Olympic Games in 2024 after defeating Guinea 1-0 in the U-23 AFCON semi-final.
The only goal in the game was scored by Mohamed Shehata at 08:00.
After defeating Guinea, Egypt qualified, officially, for the final of the U-23 AFCON, and will wait for the winner of the Morocco-Mali clash.
In the previous edition, Egypt managed to reach the Olympic Games 2020, after capturing the title of 2019 U-23 AFCON that was hosted in Egypt.
