Egyptians can expect a slight relief from the recent heat as temperatures are set to decrease by two to three degrees Celsius starting Wednesday. However, the drop in temperature will be accompanied by continued high humidity levels, which will still make the weather feel warmer than the actual temperature.

According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), Cairo and the Nile Delta will see temperatures peak at around 36 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, although it will feel more like 38 degrees due to humidity. Starting Wednesday, temperatures are expected to gradually decrease, with forecasts predicting a drop to around 33 degrees by the weekend. Despite this decrease, the high humidity will make it feel closer to 35 degrees.

In South Sinai, the heat will remain intense, with temperatures reaching 38 degrees on Tuesday but feeling like 41 degrees due to humidity. As the week progresses, temperatures in South Sinai will slightly drop to between 36 and 37 degrees, with the perceived temperature ranging from 38 to 40 degrees.

Coastal and northern regions, particularly the New Valley, may experience light to moderate showers on Monday. In these areas, temperatures are expected to be steady at around 32 degrees on Monday and Tuesday, but will feel closer to 35 degrees due to humidity. By midweek, a slight drop will bring temperatures down to 30 or 31 degrees, with humidity making it feel like 32 to 33 degrees through the weekend.
