The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will continue to witness a remarkable rise in the temperature and extremely hot weather, during daylight hours on Monday.
Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted active winds will stir sand and dust in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Northern coasts, and the south of the country, which could develop into a storm.
There will be a chance of light rain, sometimes thunderstorms, hitting intermittently the south of the country, the Red Sea mountain ranges, and the far west of the country.
Moderate weather is predicted to prevail in the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 41C in Cairo, 37C in Alexandria, 38C in Marsa Matruh, 42C in Sohag, 42C in Qena, and 42C in Aswan.
