The Ministry of Health and Population announced, on its official page on “Facebook”, the first batch of Johnson & Johnson Coronavirus vaccine will arrive at Cairo Airport, Monday at dawn, with 261 doses.
Noteworthy, Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, adviser to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, Egypt has overcome the peak of the third wave of the Coronavirus, and there is an increase in the number of cases currently by 15%.
In a statement on CBC satellite channel, he added that the number of cases could increase as the the fourth wave of the virus is hitting some countries of the world, “so we have to continue adhering to the precautionary measures against Corona.”
He pointed out that the state has relied, since the beginning of the new Coronavirus “Covid-19” pandemic, on persifying the sources of receiving vaccines, under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
