Egypt to host FIVB volleyball championship next November

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, held a meeting with Stuart Douglas, Chairman of the Technical Committee of the International Paralympic Volleyball Federation, to discuss preparations for Egypt to host the Gloss World Volleyball Championship next November.

The meeting was attended by Captain Ihab Hassanein, member of the Board of Directors of the International Federation and President of the African and Arab Paralympic Volleyball Federation, Dr. Amr Haddad, Assistant Minister for Sports Development, Dr. Mostafa Abdel Halim, President of the Egyptian Paralympic Volleyball Federation, Major General Mansour Mohammadi, Vice President of the Federation, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Director General of Sports Federations and Quality Committees, and Dr. Howayda Mandi, Executive Director of the Paralympic Committee and Director of the tournament.

The meeting discussed the preparations for the Volleyball World Cup to be held next November, coordination with the Paralympic Committee and the Egyptian Federation, and the development of all logistical facilities.
