The Egyptian state succeeded within a few years in changing the map of the agricultural sectors through national road networks or by modernizing the irrigation system and entering international markets.
The improvements reflected positively on the performance of the agricultural sector.
This vision proved to the world that Egypt faces challenges successfully with a will to improve the policy of the economic conditions of the Egyptian state.
Agricultural exports include 350 persified products that are exported to more than 150 countries around the world, led by the European and Arab countries, where Egyptian exports recorded an unprecedented boom during the year 2021 and amounted to about 5.6 million tons, with a value of about 3 billion dollars, making Egypt the first in the world in exporting citrus fruits, in addition to other exports of processed and packaged agricultural products.
The Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation stated that Egypt’s agricultural exports exceeded three million tons this year during the period from January 1, 2022, until May 25, 2022, reaching about 3,115,312 tons of agricultural products.
