Egypt condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist attack at a mosque in Kandahar city, Afghanistan, which reportedly killed more than 30 and wounded dozens of innocent people on Friday.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Foreign Ministry extended its sincere condolences to Afghan people and the families of the victims, who died as a result of this 'despicable' terrorist attack, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
In this regard, Egypt reiterated its firm position on the necessity of confronting terrorism, violence, and extremism and combating all its forms and manifestations.
