Egypt has dispatched a massive humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip, delivering approximately 7,200 tons of relief supplies as part of ongoing efforts to support Palestinians amid the worsening humanitarian situation.

The convoy, the fourteenth in the “Zad Al-Ezza” aid series, moved from the Egyptian side of the Rafah land crossing in the early hours of the morning. Organized by the Egyptian state in coordination with the Egyptian Red Crescent, the trucks headed toward Gaza via the Kerem Shalom crossing, where the shipments undergo inspection procedures before being unloaded, after which the vehicles return to Egypt.

Officials said the convoy is one of the largest sent to date, carrying a wide range of humanitarian assistance. More than 4,700 tons consisted of food supplies, including food parcels and flour, while over 800 tons were allocated for medical supplies and essential medicines. The convoy also included more than 1,500 tons of various petroleum materials, in addition to large quantities of shelter and relief items.

Egypt has continued to play a central role in facilitating humanitarian access to Gaza, maintaining a steady flow of aid convoys through the Rafah crossing despite ongoing regional challenges.
