The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts scorching weather to prevail in most parts of the county during daylight hours on Thursday.
Hot weather is also predicted to hit the North Coast.
The experts also foresaw the country would experience an increase in the temperatures caused by desert air masses and, as a result, raise the temperatures.
Dusty wind will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northwestern Coast, and North Upper Egypt, decreasing visibility on the west of the country.
It is also predicted there will be disruption of maritime navigation in the western shores of the Mediterranean Sea, with winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2.5 to 3 meters.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience turbulent waves, ranging between 2.5 and 3 meters in height varying between northeast and southeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderately cold weather at nighttime.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 36°C in Cairo, 33°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 37°C in Sohag, 36°C in Qena, and 38°C in Aswan.
