Egypt Sees Hot, Humid Weather on Wednesday, Cairo 33°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather will prevail in most of the country during Wednesday's daylight hours.

Extremely hot weather is also expected to prevail in the South Upper Egypt.

The country will also witness mist, extending into fog, on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Canal Cities, North Coast, Central Sinai, and Lower Egypt.

Wind will occur occasionally across the country.

There is a chance of light rainfall hitting intermittently in the North Coast and North Lower Egypt.

Meteorologists also predict that the country will continue experiencing a slight temperature decline.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves ranging between 1.25 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, with winds averaging 40 to 50 km/h and waves ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters.

Moderately hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning moderate in the early hours.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 33°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 35°C in Sohag, 37°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
