On Tuesday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 919 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 341188.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 19309 nationwide after the ministry announced 60 deaths.
About 622 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 285615.
The country’s fourth wave of the virus is in full force, with daily cases seeing a tenfold increase than what was recorded at the end of July.
The government announced last month that Egypt has administrated a total of 35 million coronavirus vaccine doses. All types of vaccines have been provided by Egypt to fight the pandemic.
