On Wednesday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 799 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 309934.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 17584 nationwide after the ministry announced 39 deaths.
About 423 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 261612.
