The Ministry of Supply announced that the Holding Company for Food Industries, through the Egyptian Company for Meat and Poultry, pumped approximately 100 tons of fresh Sudanese meat to more than 1,500 outlets across the governorates ahead of Eid Al-Adha, in addition to 1,500 head of slaughtered livestock daily to those outlets.

On his part, the head of the board of directors of the Egyptian Company for Meat and Poultry Mahmoud Al-Saadany confirmed on Sunday that the slaughterhouse performs the necessary medical examination of the meat ahead of slaughtering.

Saadany pointed out that the meat arrives in refrigerators from southern Egypt after slaughtering it in a slaughterhouse in the southern valley.

He pointed out that a large number of workers were hired to unload  the meat and distribute it in refrigerators to the seven companies affiliated with the Holding Company for Food Industries.
