The Executive Director of the Jerash Festival, Ayman Samawi, announced Tuesday that Egypt will be the guest of honor of the 37th edition of the festival.
"This is the first time in the history of the festival sessions to be a guest of honor," he said.
Samawi added that the activities of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts will take place from July 26 to August 5.
The Jerash Festival has been held annually in the city of Jerash in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, since 1981.
The festival includes singing evenings for a large number of art stars in the Arab world and the world, folkloric dance performances by local and international troupes, opera performances, and sales of traditional handicrafts.
